With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare communications, Todd Cooper leads the product communications practice at Feinstein Kean Healthcare. In this role, he is responsible for developing and guiding brand strategies on behalf of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, device and diagnostics industries. Building on his work in both the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, Todd has particular expertise in communications throughout the commercialization process and in providing integrated product and corporate communications strategies. He also has a great deal of experience in developing compelling communications strategies that help differentiate brands in highly competitive markets. Todd joined FKH from Millennium Pharmaceuticals, where he led the public relations team, managing communications surrounding the launch of Velcade, the first product the company brought through the FDA approval process, and for Integrilin, the company's treatment for acute cardiovascular disease. Prior to joining Millennium, Todd spent ten years at Ogilvy Public Relations in New York where, as senior vice president, he led account teams responsible for leading pharmaceutical brands, including Merck's Vioxx and Propecia and Ortho Biotech's Procrit. In this role, he oversaw the creation and implementation of integrated communications programs targeting consumers, advocacy groups and professionals. During his tenure at Ogilvy, Todd was also responsible for a range of domestic and international healthcare assignments that included corporate identity development, community relations, corporate communications and issues management. |
