Our internship program provides students with hands-on experience in public relations. Interns are also encouraged to participate in all company activities, especially training sessions.
Intern Program We offer full-time internships that run from January-June and June-December. Interns are assigned to an account group where they work on a variety of projects over the course of their time at FKH. Some of the account group work that interns are involved with during their internship may include:
Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and other relevant communications vehicles for clients
Evaluating and analyzing information and data, including developing succinct, accurate summaries of research
Drafting media alerts, pitch letters, press releases and marketing materials
Developing media lists and other reports (e.g., competitor, consumer, legislative or interest group analyses)
Targeting and developing relationships with the press and the investment community
Coordinating meetings and events, including press conferences, analyst meetings, annual meetings and special events
Understanding and applying the fundamentals of graphics, production, printing, video and broadcast, IT and emerging media.
